Day 1

Monday , 19th July 2010 

Day 1 of the semester 2.

my first class was at 5:30 pm , smart yeah? so i can stay up late on sundays :p and dont have to wake yp early next morning for stupid lectures :D !! lol! so yeah it was Organisational Behaviour. My flatmate is with me as well but she was at the other building cuz she already had 2 more classes from 2 pm or something , as i approached to the lecture venue alone , (left my mom for some shopping) i saw a crowd, so i lined outside, i saw an old friend from foundation! he was like hey!! i was like oooooooohhh my god wassup ! he told me he passed all his previous subjects and how exciting OB is going to be.. bleh. :\ he said ill sit at the front, join me and ur friend if you like... he was talking no stop with this german girl he met 3 seconds ago LOL so i decided to sit as far as i can :p cuz he talks a lot ! LOL . boring , by the way im not very talkative.. im a quite person... lol and not that social as well.. im shy maybe? anyways so i sat alone cuz my friend didnt show up yet.

Ive been told that OB is one of the easiest business core subjects to take! but obviously its not, our lecturer told us that its "not" easy! and there is going to be heaps of group work and many observations ! so i have to be very smart and creative! i freaked out! this was supposed to be the easiest subject, but unfortunately not. so i decided to take some fast note of the learning skills , im so going to see SLAMS this year! i do need to get out of my little shell and communicate ! i need the A+ so bad! 

After that i got a class at 6:30 until 8:30 , it was Accounting . i love accounting , its easy! i took it in my foundation year and i got 98 out of 100 . good yeah? and anyways the lecturer said its gona be easy and smooth if you finish everything you have to do on time. there is only 1 assignment and 1 test , pretty smooth. so yup that was it! evening classes ... much better than waking up early lol.

lol let me tell u what happened later, i called my mom and she said she's waiting for me outside next to subway , which is right next to my uni. so i saw her and she had some bags with her , oh mammy been shopping yeah? she was happy she said she walked a lot and she felt good, weather was nice ! (she loves cold weather, ugh i hate winter!) bs 7araam , as we walked 2 min away and hopped in the tram she was like : AMBAAAAIHHHH! cheeesiiii! my accessories bag ! i left it there on the bench in-front of subway! so we got off in the next stop and i hurried back! there was no bag :( i felt so bad , she was like oh i bought stuff eb 90$ :( 7raaam 7adhaa iksrat kha6ry wallah! we then looked at some other random places and i have asked the security if any one handed a bag to them? but they said no sorry :(

so i still feel bad about it .. i hate to see her sad ;( she wasnt sad really .. my mom is cool enough to let it go lol! i love her ;****

So yup! that was it ! oh and i feel im not craving italian food for the next 2 weeks at least! because i had a pasta for lunch and a pizza for dinner ;\ im so full lol

so its 1 am now , I have a class tomorrow at 8:30! its the Seminar for OB , they are going to allocate our group members randomly! im gonna freak out ;( im too shy to introduce myself to new people! hii im sarah :p you? lol stupid ! anyways hahaha :p i better go sleep !

School Starting TOMORROW !

Yup yup , thats right! so tomorrow we start semester 2 of the 2nd year of uni .. hmm i have two more to go lol not bad eh?


So starting tomorrow , back to early cold mornings , walking to uni , tram 48 to collins st , building 108 , gloria jean's coffee , security guard fake ol' smile , yawns and papers! 

I dont have any logistics going on this semester , only : Accounting , Statistic , Organisational Behaviour and Prices & Markets .

And because sadly i got very bad results in my previous semester , i regret it , i do really regret it , so from bacher on ill be a very very good student ! no skipping classes no careless me no more and no pre-made assignments lol

Amusement park, NOT

hello everyone! if you are a regular reader of my blog you would know that ive just got back from my trip to the gold coast ! i will be posting some photos later! it was fun.
so 20 min ago we were all chatting and remembering the funny moments we had in the theme park and how i forced my mom to ride the scoopy do ride in the ( Movie World ) and she was scared to death lol! she even cried.. so as we were remembering all the scary fast rides we were on , mom mentioned how scary and fatal these rides can be! she was like : yeah its true , some people died ! some rides lost control and the people actually fell and died! i had goosebumps as she continued to mention few of the stories. so i went upstairs and googled some information, ive found this web sites that is up to dated , its scary.. all about fatal accidents from the theme park rides. recent one is on (July 11, 2010) - it says:  At Dixie Landin' amusement park in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, a 21-year-old woman fell from a roller coaster and died an hour later from her injuries.
omg she's my age! im not trying to scare you here, bs it is scary! she was there to have fun, she thought it was safe.. she never thought about it as a risk or a chance to die ! bs she died... how sad.

The roller coaster, called Xtreme, reaches a maximum height of 50 feet and speeds of up to 37 miles per hour. The ride passed a state inspection last month, and initial reports from investigators indicate that no mechanical problems have been found with the ride.

Another accident last month , (June 29, 2010) - In Shenzhen, China, Ecoventure Valley theme park became the site of the deadliest amusement ride accident in history when a space shuttle simulator malfunctioned, killing six people.

The indoor ride, called Space Journey, consists of 12 cabins that spin and rise to the top of the dome, where there is an 80-foot screen showing images of the universe. Each cabin has the capacity to hold four passengers.

Witnesses said that there was a loud noise, smoke filled the air with the smell of something burning, the lights went out, and machine oil started spraying. They said that some of the 44 riders on board were ejected from their cabins while the cabins were crashing into each other and falling 40-50 feet to the ground.

i cant believe how i never thought of the possibilities , in june 2010 so far i found more than 4 fatal accidents , (June 19, 2010) - At Terra Encantada theme park in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil, a 61-year-old woman suffered fatal head and abdominal injuries when she fell 30 feet from a steel roller coaster called Monte Aurora. The woman was seated next to her daughter, who claimed that the safety restraint either broke or opened. omg and i forced my mama to ride with me :( !!! it also says In 2005, a man suffered serious injuries in a 12-foot fall from the same ride.

(May 7, 2010) - In Hammer Springs, New Zealand, a woman slipped from a bungee cord during a bungee jump and fell into a river. According to one report, the accident happened when one of the woman's shoes slipped off during the second bounce. She was hospitalized with serious injuries but was expected to recover.

The jump was operated by Thrillseekers Adventures.

i know i might have scared you , i might have created an amusement-phobic , bs its true stories and recent too, there are so many more bs im terrified to look for more. 

Always READ WARNING SIGNS , All major rides have some kind of age, weight, or height restriction. Upon entering the park or boarding a ride, you will see restriction and/or warning signs -- do not ignore them. Usually, children under a certain height or age cannot ride without a parent. In some cases, people with certain medical conditions are warned not to ride. In any case, be aware of restrictions and heed warnings.

Each ride has at least one ride operator. It is important to follow the instructions that operators may give upon the start or stop of a ride. Before boarding a ride, perhaps while waiting in line, take note of how a ride operator conducts himself. During the entire duration of any ride, the operator should be paying exclusive and careful attention to the ride and its riders. Make sure that he is not distracted. If he is talking to a fellow employee or reading a book, it could be an indication that he is not paying attention. He should not allow riders to act unruly. Also, the operator should not be "showing off" in any way. And if the operator looks like he's in another world, he probably is. Operators should never be operating more than one ride at one time. They must be at least 16 years of age. An operator should never leave a ride's control panels to be operated by anyone other than himself. Alert a park supervisor if you notice an operator acting irresponsibly

Perhaps most importantly, make sure that you yourself act appropriately. Always use seat belts, lap bars or chains, and shoulder harnesses when they are provided. Eluding safety harnesses and standing up on rides are the leading causes of injuries and deaths. Do not act in any way that would cause the ride to deviate from its normal course of operation. Never rock cars, especially on rides like Ferris Wheels, Log Flumes, and Skyrides. Always keep your hands, legs, and arms inside your car. Never attempt to board a ride when it is moving or to exit a ride before it comes to a complete stop

Again, riding an amusement ride is one of the safest recreational activities. This is a fact. The number of people who are injured from drinking glasses is seventeen times that of the number of people injured on amusement rides. Some of the other more "dangerous" activities are: mowing a lawn, riding a skateboard, riding a bike, and playing billiards. All of these activities are statistically more dangerous than riding an amusement ride. Furthermore, because of the fact that rider misbehavior is the leading cause of accidents, the probability of an accident drops dramatically when a rider is safety-conscious. The more aware a rider is of safety, the less accidents there are, and the less accidents there are, the happier everyone is.

i never tried the pinkberry in kuwait yet , the long queue ma yshaje3 . lol bs i tried it mn zmaan in the states! it was delicious 7lo and very fresh! bs you must really try SNOG , in south kensington, LONDON..

another branch i heard was open last year in SOHO! yummiii after a long day shopping i would definitely grab me some ..

and omg omg i just checked their website ! it says opening in DUBAI july 2010!! ambaiiih? wallah sedfffaaaa now akeeed its gonna be famous!! anyone saw it yet? i have no idea if its open already or not yet!!!

Get Your Hair Growing Faster?

Looked so much better with long hair and you really want to regrow it as soon as possible?  want to make your hair grow faster? first of all what ever you do don't ever get hair extensions, it may be a quick fix but not only is it expensive... it will make your hair weaker and then unless you keep getting them put in again and again... you'll end up with even weaker and more damaged hair then when you started... 
just massage you scalp... shampoo every other day and don't blow dry or straighten(or apply any heat) for a while, wallah its unhealthy! my mom was right ... i remember googling some topics from women forums.. i wrote down some useful oil names! the names were weird and funny haha! bs the thing is,, i was too lazy to keep applying the oil before i go to bed , beside i hate the smell ughh..

what you need to do mainly is to eliminate alcohol (incase you drink) , stress, and junk food. Up your water intake, take Amino Acids, and buy an all-natural hair growth stimulating product. If you do this, your hair will grow faster, and more importantly, healthier than ever!!!

here are some other tips i found online !

and i think im gonna try them ..

• Eat more spicy food. Capsaicin, the chemical that makes peppers spicy, has been shown to promote hair growth by mimicking natural human growth factors.
• The same goes for soy milk. The isoflavones in soy are known to increase hair growth.
• Take a biotin supplement. If you're not getting enough biotin in your diet, it could be hampering your length. Biotin also naturally occurs in tomatoes, carrots, romaine, and chard. Make a salad already!
• Give yourself a scalp massage. They increase circulation, helping stimulate your hair follicles.
• Cut down on your stress. Stress slows down hair growth, among about a million other ill effects. Finding a healthy way to manage it can help speed things back up.

So yeah ill try to spice up my food from now on (no wonder bollywood actresses's hair is thick, long and pretty) , they eat spicy food ofcourse! and speaking of Soy Milk! i heard its very helpful, drinking soy milk will also enlarge your breasts ! is that true? its what i heard lol! interesting yeah? 
They sell cute packages in some of the chinese supermarkets here , nafs style KDD chthy , ill grab me some!

Food Post!

hey everyone ! do you guys know shoko bons ?

 i don't why its discontinued in Australia (Melbourne) , maybe its not , but i have never seen it before anywhere .. i tried every supermarket\ convenience store.. still no sign of it..so i told my mama to buy me some and she did , she brought some with her ! im the happiest ! im eating some now as im typing :p 

anyways , i decided to take a break from fashion posts. i seriously cant! its in my blood lol, so ill post a recipe post and ill talk b3d about the latest fashion and what i got for my GOLD COAST trip! im so excited we're going cuz the weather there is much warmer and prettier , i love the sun so much and i miss it so bad ;( ! we already booked the flights tickets and the accommodation. we are gonna stay in a very nice spot, close to all the attractions and the surfer paradise boulevard! interesting yeah? i really cant wait, its going to be fun... i really wish my sisters and my baby are here with me:( , gosh i miss the surfer paradise! do you think its surfing season? im sure its gonna be chilly at night but i dont know about the morning times. i heard its sunny! my friend who works at the beauty clinic told me that they went last week and it was HOT! i even saw her photos she posted on facebook and she was wearing summery dresses and sleeveless tops! haha how exciting! 
oh snap :p enough talk already! lol i wonder do you guys even care??
so yup! back to my cooking recipe , its a finger food kinda dish , very simple and easy yet so yummi! you will need a tomato , a giant mushroom (or diced if you like) , cheese ( lots of cheese ) and milk! i also added some herbs , i dont remember what were they ,,, 
so heres : 

this is step 1 

make sure its cooked ... i myself dont like the raw mushrooms , never tried eating raw mushrooms ugh!

Step 2

tomato is cooking on low fire :D 

Step 3 

adding the cheese !  i used melted (spread) Kraft and cheddar cheese

then i added little bit of Milk so its not too thick , and the herbs i told you about !

Step 4 ! 

place the Giant Mushroom in the middle of the dish and pour the cheese and tomato sauce all over! its amazing you will love the taste ! enjoy your dish :)
